Some Winning Methods of Logo Design Presentation

When you want to get approval from clients, you have to pay some special attention and focus on the presentation. If your design is already liked by them then just putting some extra effort for the presentation will ensure that the client can make their decision. The main aim here is to show the client your application of the design on chosen medias like they have already been printed out. Here are some ways in which you can present logo designs to your clients.

Holding business cards– This is one of the most simplest and trusted way of ensuring an impressive presentation. Just click a photograph of a business card in your hand and make sure that the icon design is clearly visible. This same image may be used in future for other icons as well. You would just have to tweak the picture a bit in the Photoshop for the desired effect. Start distorting and skewing the icon enough to fit the card’s perspective through Ctrl+T. Scale the logo to the correct proportions.

Wood textured background– Go for a wood textured background according to your liking. Try to ensure that the texture is smooth as logo beveling and embossing would work better on it. Then the logo should be copied to some other layer and then filled up with the color that has been picked from background. On its top, the icon layer should then be multiplied which would make the color appear darker. Blend properly through the options and use Inner Shadow effect. This will make it appear more realistic. The icon layer should then be duplicated into a couple of different layers. Adjust everything so that the effect and lighting is to your liking.

Contrasting background– You need to show that both light as well as dark backgrounds would work well with the icon. To work with dark backgrounds, use the Photoshop to create a background that is 100% black and then the logo should be copied to another layer. For highlighting 95% black may be used in radial gradient which can then be set somewhere around the logo icon, in the center. For the icon’s shadow gradient 15% black may be used. Use elliptical tool for shadow effect and adjust accordingly.

On office building– Ask for the office building’s photograph and copy the icon on it through Photoshop. Add gradient to it and add Drop Shadow.

Product background– Select any good image of the product to set as background. Subtle outer glow may be applied on the logo so that it stands out a bit prominent from the background.
