Favicon or “favorite icon” is displayed at the left side of the address bar or at the left side of the browser tab when you open a website. It’s a small yet important element for online branding. It plays the role of a logo, but in a more subtle manner.
Why It Matters?

- Links Bar– It’s placed below the address bar and most of the times web audience use it to save the most important links. When you add URLs to the links bar, favicons represent the links.
