Here is a brief review of Rio 2016 custom logo design. Read it and learn how seasoned artists conceptualize a brand emblem.
The emblem is designed in 3D style and features 3 person joining hands forming a circle. The three dancing figures are designed in green, yellow and blue. The agency created these three abstract figures to represent the people of Rio and their cultural diversities. The shape displays the nature of the city that inspires its people live passionately and let them enjoy a carefree life. Since the Olympic also celebrates people’s achievements and encourages the strength of a culturally unified world, the shape perfectly represents the Olympic spirit.
The designers selected the colors keeping the Brazilian environment in mind. Yellow color stands for the sun and the warm and happy nature of Brazilian people. Blue represents the fluidity of surrounding water and their relaxed lifestyle, and finally the green color represents famous Brazilian rainforests and hope.
The entire logo design is very bright and sends a positive vibe to the viewers. The design is so unique that it can be presented in both 2D and 3D format depending upon the place and occasion.
